On July 18, 2024, EnergyFlow signed an exclusive agency agreement with the global software development company CosyLAB.
CosyLAB is a leading software provider located in Ljubljana, Slovenia, specializing in advanced software for some of the world’s most sophisticated and precise systems and devices, including particle accelerators, large telescope arrays, fusion reactors, innovative medical devices, and cancer therapy systems.
In particular, CosyLAB is recognized as a leading technology company in Eastern Europe, possessing extensive expertise in systems used for radiation therapy, such as Photon beam treatment, Treatment Planning Systems, and Oncology Information Systems.
"Especially in Korea, we expect to showcase the highest technology in Treatment Planning Systems (TPS) used in proton therapy and particle therapy, which have recently garnered significant interest. We also anticipate collaborating with many domestic researchers in the medical industry to provide new control systems and innovative computational algorithms. We are already in discussions with several medical institutions and companies," said Chung, Young Lip, CEO at EnergyFlow.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that CosyLAB and EnergyFlow are preparing a special event in Korea this fall to mark the signing of this agreement.
