The National Cancer Center's Radiological Oncology Department Introduces MVision's Contour+ - First installation in Korea

In May 2024, in Goyang, South Korea, we are delighted to announce that MVision's advanced AI-based contouring software, Contour+, has been installed for the first time in Korea at the National Cancer Center's Radiation Oncology Department

Established in 2001, the National Cancer Center is Korea's leading specialized institution in cancer care, encompassing research laboratories, affiliated hospitals, the National Cancer Control Headquarters, universities, and graduate schools. The Radiation Oncology Department, equipped with state-of-the-art radiation therapy devices such as linear accelerators and proton therapy machines, provides effective treatments for various types of cancer using cutting-edge technology.

MVision's Contour+ is an innovative contouring software based on AI, designed to swiftly and accurately outline tumors and surrounding organs during the radiation therapy planning process. This software leverages artificial intelligence to significantly enhance the precision of radiation therapy, maximize operational efficiency for medical staff, and ultimately deliver improved treatment outcomes for patients.

The Radiation Oncology Department at the National Cancer Center has chosen Contour+ as part of its efforts to reduce the workload on medical staff and provide optimal care to patients.

We are very pleased that through collaboration with the National Cancer Center, MVision's Contour+ has been installed for the first time in Korea at the National Cancer Center's Radiation Oncology Department, promising innovative changes in the Korean healthcare industry.

Moving forward, we will continue our relentless efforts with MVision to develop advanced technologies and innovations, aiming to provide the best solutions to healthcare institutions in Korea. We also look forward to seeing Contour+ used in more medical facilities to offer innovative radiation therapy in the future.
